I was looking at certain universities I was interested in attending and saw that they had a requirement (four years of math) that I couldn't do at my High School because of scheduling difficulties.

Does anyone know whether or not I can still get the fourth year by taking math at a local community college to make up for my lack of math at the High School? Thanks!

I think that 4 years of math is one of the more important requirements. I believe you can get the 4th year by taking the course a CC, and it probably won't be considered much different from doing it in HS. What course would you take at the CC? I've noticed a lot of CCs do Pre-cal as 2 courses.

Depending on what they let me take, I'm planning to either take pre-calc or some sort of basic calculus class at the CC.

A CC course would likely count, but not being able to take 4 years of math seems pretty unusual since it's a basic academic requirement for many schools.
