Required to retake the GMAT after 2012?

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I just graduated and obtained my bachelors degree and I was thinking of taking the GMAT shortly after I start work (some time later this year or early next year). I wanted to work for a few years (2-4) and then apply to business school sometime during that time frame.</p>

<p>My question is, after the GMAT gets modified with the new integrated reasoning section in 2012, will we have to retake the GMAT if we apply post-2012?</p>

<p>After thinking about it for a little bit, what I really meant to ask was would it be preferred that we send new GMAT scores if we apply to b-schools post-2012? Or would it make little to no difference at all which version it was.</p>

<p>I may just delay taking the GMAT until the new version comes out (and not prepare for it now), especially if I think I may perform better on the integrated reasoning section.</p>
