does umich rescind if you get like... A-, B, A, A, A-, B-? (which is a 3.50)
for the same classes, 1st semester my grades were A, B, A-, A, A, A-
originally, my cumulative gpa is a 3.7.

No, you’re fine. They only consider rescinding admission if you start making C’s or lower.

Knew a friend with got 2 C’s senior year, nothing happened. Just… get as few C’s as possible…

Definitely not. I got a C+ in one of my classes senior year and nothing happened. Even if you were to get a few Ds or an F, a good letter of explanation would prevent from being rescinded

A .2 drop in GPA during senioritis probably puts you in the top quarter of UM admits. You’re fine.

I heard that 3 or more C’s during the last semester of high school could cause acceptance to be rescinded, so you’re okay.

If UMich rescinded admissions for those grades, the incoming class sizes would be about 50% smaller each year. You’re better than fine.

Will Umich rescind admission if you got all A’s throughout high school and mostly B’s, 1 D, and 1 C+ during senior year?

I don’t think you would get rescinded but I think they would want an explanation for the D.

Actually, I’m just a junior wondering about my accepted friend’s grades :P. But thank you.

Having one D puts your friend at a slight, but only very slight, risk. A C added onto that can raise some concerns. I don’t think the admission would be rescinded but it’s not a guarantee.

You guys. I got a B+

I’m done

Getting 3 C’s, 1 D, or 1 F. will put definitely put you under review to be rescinded. 1 D is not a definite guarantee for admission to be revoked since it depends on the class. i.e if you took Calc III and got a D you might be okay, but if it was an easy mode class you should be worried.

She got D on AP World History (she took regular world history already…) and C+ on AP biology.
