What kind of grades merit a rescinding of admission?
I’m kinda paranoid now…

Depends on your original grades, and if there was any kind of explanation for the lower grades besides just senioritis. How bad is your second semester?

Its not that bad yet. One of my grades may drop if I don't work to bring it up but one other may be higher. No D's though...

I'm not really worrying about it unless I fail something. In the words of one of my college friends, "Just don't get arrested. Actually, you could probably get arrested. Don't get caught plagiarizing, though." And there you have it. I would think an F probably wouldn't be good, but C's are nothing to worry about. And despite his advice, you might not want to risk getting arrested

Well even the C is not definetly a C... But what if I get arrested doing a civil rights demonstration?

Whose rights and how civil?

i hope you get arrested

I think if you get arrested doing a Civil Rights Demonstration, Brown will actually give you special privileges next year.

lol, if you get arrested during a civil rights demonstration, especially if you get put in jail, and especially if it's a demonstration for something your notblack rights if your white, feminism if your male, illegal immigrant rights if your not (you get the idea)not only will you get to go to brown, and not only will you get special priveleges, but i wouldnt be too surprised if your admission officer came down to bail you out and organized an old brunonian ACLU lawyer to fight for you.

i'm kinda worried too.

my predicted A level grades were all As. and now I have a D in my A level results, the rest are still As. I'm asking my teacher for that subject to write a letter, to explain it was definitely not senioritis, as she knows i've worked the hardest for that subject. but i don't know how else to explain it. i really don't know why it was a D.

Civil rights demonstration, you're golden... on the other hand, if you happened to show up at a Bush event, being named the youngest Nobel Laureate ever wouldn't save you from having your offer rescinded. :p
