Rescinding Their Offer

Hey guys! I was extremely fortunate to have been admitted to Columbia, along with Penn, Brown, and Dartmouth on Ivy Day. However, over the past few months, as IB HL courses have been diving deep into the option topics (combined with, admittedly, some senioritis), my grades took a small dip. Though I have been a straight A student before the second semester of senior year, I have a single C (in Math) to go with straight As in my other courses (majoring in English/history). Would this be enough for my colleges to possibly reconsider their offers/ forcing me to go on academic probation once I send my SIIR?

Extremely unlikely. As long as you don’t get a D, get arrested, or be found to have misrepresented yourself in your application, you’ll be fine. But try to get the grade into the B range if you can.

No. I dropped two courses right before classes ended because of a family emergency and I called my admissions officer and she was very chill about it.

Believe it or not, the course I was working on the hardest before graduation was gym, which I passed with a 57.
