Rescoring AP scores... Worth it?

<p>I've heard that some people end up getting a lower score than they expected on their AP exams. Has anyone tried to rescore their test? If so, did your score remain the same or did it increase? Has anyone every heard of someone getting a lower score after they requested the CollegeBoard to rescore the exam? If you don't mind sharing, please list the exam and what the score changed to or remained at... hope I'm not pushing anyone's buttons. </p>

<p>Rescores are generally worth it if you got a 1/2 and were expecting a 5. It’s possible that they didn’t factor in one of the portions, which could lead to a lower score. For scores of 3/4, I don’t think rescores are often successful. Read this thread for more info:</p>
