Is rescoring worth it?

I took my first AP test this year (HS Freshman) and today I recieved my score for my APWH exam.
In my class I had a solid 100 for the quarter and a 97 for the end of year grade, so when I looked at my score and saw a 3 I was pretty devestated. I know a 3 is passing, and UF accepts 3's but I felt like I could of at least gotten a 4.
So my question is: is a rescore worth it? Has anyone done a rescore with a 3?
If I do decide to shell out $25, when should I expect to recieve my score?

Did you feel really good about the test after you took it?

^ I didn’t feel amazing about it, but I felt like I could have gotten a 4.
As a final in the class we took an AP test from 2002 and I missed around 10-15 questions on the MC, so that made me feel confident as well.

If a 3 is going to get you credit I wouldn’t waste money seeing if you actually received a different score – given that either way you slice it you’re getting the same amount of credit.

Plus, why give the collegeboard monster more money when it’s not necessary?

UF does not care about the differences between a 3 and 4 on this test, proven by the fact that you don’t get any more credit for a 5 than you would a 3. Don’t waste your money. It isn’t worth it at all.
