Research Experience

I'm a junior and will be applying to Masters programs for Fall 2012 in Earth Sciences. Compared to most people on this forum, I think I've barely had any research experience. I was involved in research during both semesters of freshman year, and have just begun working on an honors thesis. I'm also trying to get involved in another lab working on a related project.
I know that research experience is not counted as heavily for Masters programs as it is for doctoral ones, but is this enough?

Nothing at all?

If you’re hoping to get funded for your MS, then it would probably matter. If you’re planning on paying out of pocket I don’t think it’ll have as much influence.

I agree with RacinReaver. I’ve met a couple of students that have been admitted to MS programs without much research experience. However, they did have at least one summer internship in industry.
