I know that many of you have sent in papers, I'm considering doing the same, but my paper isn't ISEF finalist/publishable quality. In fact, I didn't even make Westinghouse semifinalist. I have won awards at local/state science fairs, but obviously this is pretty insignificant. So basically I'm asking if I should send it just to back up insterest shown in my essays and EC's?
If you want to take a look at it before giving me an opinion, please post or PM your email and I'll send it to you.
Thanks

could you email it to me @ kevlar626@gmail.com

I don't think it'll matter much tbh, but it probably won't hurt. And in terms of competitions, don't think too much about them. Brilliant people have written papers that haven't received any recognition

i would take a look at it, and comment in general

hey samwise, i read your paper and im impressed. personally i'd send it in. my only comments are that you could look up some other reserach papers online and follow them with a little formatting - a title page with the name, your name, a date, an abstract. also a table of contents might be good, since you have several section. and you could change the font for like titles of sections. just a bit of editing, nothing major.

tetrahedron's right. samwise, your liquid cooler's nice. but i don't think that you need contents. check out this paper:
http://www.nature.com/nmat/journal/v3/n4/pdf/nmat1089.pdf
and do smth similar.

Well I decided what the hell, I'll send it in. I did revise it alot to make it flow better, even though I doubt they'll do more than glance over it. Thanks to everyone who drudged through it!
