The deadline is over but I found out that the office is still willing to receive updates on awards, supplemental materials ... et cetera

Is it alright to resend the essay on commonapp to replace the one I submitted?
It is exactly the same essay. Just corrections on some errors. Just realized uploaded the previous draft instead of latest copy.

Anyone had experience or heard about such a case? Will the office attend to it or will they be deeply frustrated?

I am grateful for anyone who could shed light on this. Thanks!

I don’t think you can resend your common app…that is why common app people make such a big deal out of double checking your app before you send it. I made a mistake on mine and I wasn’t able to correct it…not even for the other schools I was applying to. The only things I could change were supplements I hadn’t submitted.

You can still send updates…if the errors aren’t detrimental, I wouldn’t worry about it.

And you can still send updates about awards received, etc.

No you shouldn’t. Officers will be understanding. Use good judgement when submitting additional items - most of the things they receive are not positive for the candidate.
