Reserved Books

Hello,

I still haven't gotten a response, so I thought making a new thread might catch some people's attention. No worries, I'm not obsessed or anything. You won't see 4,5 threads about the same darn thing :)

The original question: "If you reserve your textbook at USC, can you later opt to remove the reservation (like, not accept my reserved books)? I'm trying to save money by buying my textbook online at a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price, but I'm scared that I won't find it and that all books will be gone when I get on campus."

icy.jennie.jenje's question: "I have a similar question to PharmEngTenor. If we reserve books from the bookstore, are we obligated to pick them up later? If we find cheaper alternatives, can we just not buy the ones held for us? Thanks!"

Thank you for anybody who can help us!

I mean you don’t pay anything or put down a deposit when you reserve them so yea you can just not pick them up.

Ah. That makes sense.

How about picking some of them up (b/c I have the books for the others)? Will the USC bookstore let me do that?

yea i mean even if they dont just walk around the bookstore and leave the ones you dont want somewhere
