resident scholars community iub

My kids don't have any grandparents anymore. Looks like I'll get stuck with the shirt.

Of course, with the expense of tuition coming up, maybe I'll give my son enough money to only buy ONE, and I would hate for him to deprive his father. hehe...

theres also a Hoosier Grandma and Grandpa SHIrt!? how many kinds are there Hoosier brother, sister, uncle, friend, teacher!?

You forgot Hoosier Enemy, Hoosier Hairdresser and Hoosier Hoosier.

Time to bump this.

If I wanted to live in Forest in the co-ops, how far away is that from Kelley? Also, how far away is Ashton?

ashton is for the music peepz i tink.. forest, wright, teter, briscoe are the closest ones to kelley. believe me i visited! personally i liked wright, pricewise and locationwise its just perfect.

Im either wanting to do co-ops which is in Forest, or Residence Scholars which is in Ashton, so Im only choosing between those.

Dcho711, Forest and Briscoe are at opposite ends of campus. Forest is not very close to the business school. The NW area is closest to the business school.

Read is the dorm favored by music people, not Ashton, which is farther away. I don't know Ashton's exact location, but I spent some time travelling between Forest and McNutt last week, moving my son's stuff into storage for the summer, since he will be an RA at McNutt next year and lived in Forest this year.

wow i just got pwned lol ok mi bad i ono i keep thinkin ashton = music but yea i looked it up and its reed. miii bad :)

Alright my mom and I figured that it would be better for me to go to Ashton for the Residence Scholar thing. Now its time to decide if I am actually going to go to IU next spring or go to a JC for a year then trasnfer. How long did it take u guys to get ur fin aid letter after u received ur admissions packet?

me it was like realy quick, sent it in on febuary something and recieved the finaid letter like the 1st or 2nd week of march. I REALLY hope u get a scholarship though cuz their finaid is only gov. loans and work study unless if ur efc is like below 4000 heh u might get the pell grant :) i ono witout any scholarships or grant IU is still sorta expensive cuz ur gona have to pay the full or close to the full price :( if i didnt get a scholarship i wouldve been a bruin instead ( only because of $$$ issues and not because i didnt want to go for course heeeheee ;))

How much was ur scholarship for and what were the elegibility (sp?) requirements to get it?

7000/year but this is as an incoming freshman. i tink transfers hav a different scholarship list thing.

I will be a freshman if I go this spring. What were the requirements to get that scholarship?

nothing specific or cutoff but superior sat's and rank etc. it ranges from 1000-7000 so it depends on ur academic profile for them to determine what amount they give u

Ok thanks.
