response time from application

About how soon can I expect a decision after I submit my application? I heard something about decisions being online like a month after applying, is this true?

From what I understand prospective students won't hear until February. UF does not have rolling admissions.

zebes

"Admission Decision Notification -

For applicants meeting the November 1 deadline February 13"
This is from the UFL website. If you apply by November 1 then you will get your decision on February 13th. They are only reviewing application posted after November 1 on a space available basis.

Okay, thanks

How about response time for Spring '09 transfer applicants? Any idea on roughly when I might hear something? I applied way back in May, and they said they won't make any decisions until after the deadline has passed, which is coming up fast (Sept. 15th). So I'm wondering how long after that point I might hear something..
:-o So nervous...

Depends on the college, probably. I called the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, where my girlfriend applied to transfer, and they said "You will know by Dec 1st." I asked if we will hear anything before that, and the woman repeated the above. She wasn't very friendly. She also told me, which you already know, that they had not started making decisions yet, but did not specify when they would start.

Oh how nice. I applied for Linguistics in the spring. crosses fingers

omg "you will know by Dace 1st" thats sounds dreadfully long to me

im another spring 09 transfer waitin for the sept 15 and hoping to hear something quick

I called the CLAS today and the lady told me I'll hear something by mid-October. I dunno about times for other colleges though.

For my grad school app, I found out two weeks after the application deadline when they e-mailed me my acceptance letter. I don't know if that helps you guys but I thought I'd share. I was already P****** off that I had to wait almost a year and even more so when I didn't even get a real letter! But the school itself more than made up for that. :-)

yea that makes me feel less anxious..hopefully we hear something real quick...i chked ISIS and I was able to do a degree audit for my major..all the classes and grades ive taken were there...SO im HOPING thats a good sign

bumppppppppppppp
