about how long

All of my records were transfered about 3 weeks ago, so about how long does it take to receive your reply? I thought it was 2-4 weeks, of course that'd mean I still have one week, I'm just so anxious!

In the past it's been within a couple of weeks to much longer. Sometimes it depends on the strength of your application (at least it did for those starting in fall '07). S received an immediate response; some friends of his waited a little longer. I'm not sure how it is now that more kids -- and kids with even better stats than when he applied -- are choosing UCF. As the rep said to us, "don't worry if you haven't heard because that means you are still in the running. Just don't push us to go any faster because an application on the bubble then might get pushed into the 'no' pile."

zebes

I'd give it a week or two longer.

Usually applications sent before the school year starts are processed a little slower than those sent starting in mid-August because they're getting ready for this year's freshman to move-in and fall classes to start. Divided attention.

Last year the very first acceptances were posted on the admission's status page of the website on September 14th...if that helps you. No one heard anything before that.

My son applied mid-August and received his acceptance online this past Tuesday, Sept. 2nd.

What semester did your son apply for?

I'd give it a week or two longer.

I agree 100% with you. I applied for the Spring Semester around the 2nd week of July, which I think was before the school year started. I haven't heard anything yet; however, I do keep trying daily hoping for a change. Maybe I will check in a week or so like Seiclan.

D's status just updated this afternoon - ACCEPTED!

My neighbor here in South Florida also got accepted yesterday. Wow, they started early this year!

Are these all summer acceptances so far?

My D applied and was accepted for summer.

Nope, I was just accepted for Fall 2009 last week.

I'm so anxious, I applied in late august for fall I hope I get some kind of positive answer from them my GPA and test scores aren't that perfect =S

I just got off the phone with UCF and they say that they just started reviewing applications for the Spring 2009 Semester.
