Concentrate on your GPA, that’s more important.

Good ECs for a Sophomore, but focus on getting leadership positions in the future. Your GPA is rather low, you should try to raise it. Other than that, I can’t say anything. You can’t predict SAT scores, but 2300 is higher than the average at JHU, so don’t be worried if you don’t get a really high score (especially on your first try).

is 3.6 your unweighted GPA?

@Circle1221 @MBenz yes a 3.6 is my unweighted GPA. I screwed up pretty badly my freshman year. I had a 3.5 in my freshman year, but I ended up raising it to a 3.6 this year. I’m hoping to raise it another .1 by my junior year.

@BBanks thank you! And yeah, I’m hoping a high SAT score will make up for my abysmal test scores!

So far your resume looks pretty good, l would suggest is raise your GPA. Do you know what you’d like to major in? I mean, you don’t need to decide now but I would show my pathway–for example, if I wanted to major in literature, I would take AP english, etc. Your ECs are fine if they show your dedication to the subject you want to study. Good luck!

@meime2206 I’m thinking of majoring in biology or pre-med! And i’m hoping they do!! Thank you!
