Resume resume resume!

Diamond T:

""""WHEN YOU TITLE YOUR SHEET, DONT PUT "RESUME" ON TOP, PUT "ACTIVITY LIST" cause youre 17,18 and are too young to have a real resume.""""

look on the penn application. it will say "if you plan to attach an ACTIVITIES RESUME"

they use the word resume.

Diamond-T....you mentioned we're too young to have resume's...(you included)...but that is hardly not true. Yes, there is a difference between an activity list and a resume', but trust me, plenty of kids out there have legit resume's that focus on real work experience as opposed to clubs, school government positions, etc =)

yeah I know a guy from lbw who would have a pretty insane resume...entrepreneurship and everything.

Yeah 123z,

If Piano is your most important, you should then by all means put it down

thanx DiamondT~

for my resume, I had school activities and leadership, community service, important awards, summer activities, and then work experience.

Lol. Thx Masa =)

I kust wrote about Summer Jobs and Activities, ECs, Personal Interets, and Community Service. I didn't reiterate awrds because they were already listed on the common app.

well for my resume i just put extra info. that i didnt say in my actual app. i elaborated on some activities and also added other activities that i couldnt fit on my resume. i didnt really repeat any of my major activities that didn't need an explanation. do u think this is okay?

Sounds fine, and it looks like it's the "right thing to do."
From reading over many of CC's threads, I've noticed there are so many opinions that I've taken an eclectic mix. I mean, you've got your staunch proponents of a 1 page resume, and then again the ppl who got into yale with a 5 page resume. Go figure.
