Retake 2240?

So, I got a 2240 (720 M, 720 W, 800 CR), and I'm reading about all these people running about with 2350s and upwards... I got a 235 on my PSAT, and, honestly, I didn't prep at ALL for my SAT. But I'm kind of unsure about retaking.

There's only one retake date in the Fall, and I also want to retake/take new SAT subject tests. So far I have a 770 for Math II and a 720 (blegh) for World...

I guess I could always take one of them in January and then send in my scores afterwards, but I'm not sure which should be the priority.

Any opinions?

If you can get a higher score for sure perhaps you should, but if you are going to get a score similar to ur current one, i say don't bother.

I would retake the SAT IIs. Also, if you're applying to a school that requires more than two subject tests, you'll obviously need to take those.
That's a good SAT score. Don't sweat it.

I wouldn't worry about your SAT scores - they're good, and especially for the schools that don't look much at writing, 1520/1600 is great!

That's a really good score and, more than likely, your score will stay the same or possibly lower because you scored so high. So don't retake.

I got a 2210 and just didn't bother with retaking. Turned out fine.

235 will make you Natl Merit semi-finalist...Congrats!
