retake 2c for engineering?

Sorry if the question has been answered before, but just for clarification, i got a 770 on the math 2c (i know this is good enough) but if I intend to major in engineering, how much does the last 30 points affect my prospects. I don't plan on retaking if there isn't that much of a difference, but considering the percentiles, I'm just not sure. Could someone please clarify?
Thanks

well, it depends on what school you what to go to.
somewhere like Cal Tech, you might want to, but other places, that is probably good enough.

If i don't intend on going to a technologically-oriented school like MIT and Caltech but instead intend on applying directly to a school's Engineering school, like Berkeley for example, is 770 good enough?

Yes ( 10 char)

Really, so many people think SATs are so important when they're in fact a very small part of the decision for most colleges. I mean, think about it. You're an adcom officer, you're looking at two people. One has a 770 on the Math IIc and the other has an 800. That's a difference of maybe two questions incorrect. Does that matter? Maybe the 770 person was having a bad day. Maybe the 800 person guessed on a couple questions and got lucky. It really makes such a small difference that it seems silly to worry about it.

Save your money, don't retake it.

thinkdifferent is right...

thinkdifferent wins

Go Apple Computer!

The difference between a 770 and 800 is more like 5 questions. Keep in mind the test is only 50 questions.
