Retake a B?

I had a pretty rough finals week and did alot worse than I would have hoped in some of my classes. I wound up with a B in linear algebra/diffeq even though I got high As on the first two exams because I absolutely bombed the final. I am and econ/math double major with a minor in IR thinking about eventually pursuing graduate studies in economics, decision science, social science, or IR.

The rest of my math grades are:
A Math Stats
A Applied Statistics II
A- Calculus II
B+ Multivariable Calculus
B+ Proofed Based Probability (also did worse than expected on final..)

I have a 3.75 GPA currently. Is it worth retaking Linear Algebra/Diffeq to get an A?

No. Don’t waste your time or tuition doing that.

I’d be really surprised if your school even let you retake it.

What a waste of time and money.

Are you even allowed to retake a B? Not sure if most schools even allow that.

There would be no benefits to that. Accept the B, but also reflect on why your final didn’t go as

planned. How will you study differently in the future?

The CC is strong with this one
