I got a 760 on Math 2. Should I retake for top-tier engineering programs? (I also have two 800's in History and Physics but most require the math score). Also I am likely applying ED to Cornell. Would I be able to retake in the fall and still make the deadline?

I’m on sorta the same boat. I hope someone can answer this. (770 Math 2, 800 chemistry, though my USH score was significantly lower, but Cornell only needs 2. One Math, one science for engineering.). By the way. Is the Chemical Engineering department in the Arts and Sciences Division of Cornell? That’s what I heard from UIUC.

bump… anyone?

You could retake in October and be fine. Improving to 800 would not help you very much, though; it’s up to you.

I just thought the 760 would hurt because the curve is so lenient. I don’t think I’ll do it unless I end up taking another test.
