First of all: I DO NOT plan on applying to any ivy's and intend on applying to schools such as American University, Boston University, etc.
However, I am not very happy with my ACT score:
Composite: 31
English: 32
Reading: 32
Science: 33
Math:25

^That is my second try on the ACT. The first time I got 27 (as a sophomore) with the same subscore in math, which is obviously my problem. I could raise my reading and science scores for sure--math is very difficult for me though. I do not plan on going into Engineering or anything in which Math would be a huge focus.
Yet, I know that I could stand to raise it a few points.
What's your opinion? Thanks :)

Study! There’s really no other way. Go ask your Math teacher, take practice tests and REVIEW the questions that you got wrong; generally, people have a trend of questions that they answered incorrectly, thus pointing to some missing generality in their learning or applied style. I received a 34 on my Math ACT as a Sophomore when, in the beginning of the year, I received 26-27 on each one.

Please answer my question!

Raising your math score, or your scores for English and reading, up by a few points doesn’t hurt, so go for it and retake the test.
