Hi, I'm wondering if I should retake the physics subject test in October. When I took it in May, I got a 690, which is about 58th percentile. On the other hand, I got double 5s on the AP Physics C tests. The main reason I'm hesitant about retaking is that I already have three other subject tests with good scores. The only school that I would want to retake for is MIT, as they require a science subject test (I haven't taken any other science subject tests). Would it be worth it to retake to have a better shot at MIT? Any comments would be appreciated.

I would consider re-taking it. It only takes an hour. Most likely you will break 700 the second time around.

^ i agree with boomie. Retake it if you remember all the information and equations and stuff, you are bound to do better on the retake. But this is only if you have time in your schedule to retake it, like if you are all done with your SATs and SAT IIs
good luck
