Retake SAT in March or May?

I'm a junior and I took the Jan 2012 SAT and got 2250 (720CR 740M 790W)... I'm definitely considering competitive schools (Princeton, MIT, Columbia, etc.) so I feel that I would try to break 2300 and improve on math (which I know I can).

I have already signed up for the March exam, but I was sick for a whole week and had a lot of work for science competitions, so I haven't really put in extra studying after the Jan exam.

Do you think I should wait until May to retake? I'm just afraid that it will be too much with APs. Also, I need to take 2 SATIIs, but those will most likely be in June.

Thanks for your suggestions :)

If you are already signed up for March then take it.

I’m planning on coinciding my SAT II’s with AP testing and having them in the same topic. For me that would be Chem and English.

I don’t think that taking the March one will help you as you didn’t study and a 2250 is hard to improve on. Top colleges also don’t like it if you take more than 2 or 3 SATs. If money is not an issue do not take it.
