Retake SAT or ACT

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I learned so much from here, first time posting. I need everyone's advice if I should re-take SAT or just try ACT. My SAT I is 2270(first time) now. Sat Math II- 800. After reading some of the postings here, it seems to me that if I re-take sat and get 30-50 higher won't make much of the difference to the IVY's admissions. Can you please share your experience? </p>

<p>If you had for example a 780M 720CR 770W, I advise you to take it again, but only focus on CR section. That way, you’ll have a superscore of 780M 800CR 770W. An overall increase of 80 points is not marginal.</p>
