Retake SAT third time?

So I recently received my scores from the May exam which were 710 in Math, 750 in Writing, and 790 in Critical Reading (2220 total).
From my May exam I got a 720 in Math, 780 in Writing, and 720 in Critical Reading(2250 total).

If I'm hoping to apply to schools like UPenn, Brown, and Duke, is it worth taking it a third time to improve my math score for score choice?

I don’t have all the answers, but I have some questions for you:
Is it worth it to you? Could you make time to prepare for the SAT again? Have you taken the SAT subject tests yet (because if those schools require them, your only two remaining possible dates to take them are October and December, I believe–and if you take them in December, you’ll have to apply before you know the results).

I should have checked before I wrote–there are 3 possible fall dates for the SAT (October, November, December).

You have a 2290 superscored, which is very good. I wouldn’t stress it, focus on the other aspects of your application now.

I wouldn’t bother. Focus on other things.

well i have the time to retake it, but i just don’t feel like preparing for it again just to bump up one section by 30 points. Will it look bad if i try i a third time because i heard that admissions officers hate perfectionists?

your scores look great the way they are. spend some time doing something you enjoy instead…
