Retake SAT?

So I am a senior and want some opinions about retaking the SAT. Here's my situation:

I first took the SAT junior year. Aside from having no prior experience, I had not studied enough because of my busy school schedule. I got a 1920 and was pretty disappointed.

I then took the ACT at the end of junior year, was much more prepared, and got a 33. I'm happy with the 33, but my college counselor suggested I retake both to see if I can do better.

I have already signed up to take the ACT next week and don't mind taking it again. The question is, should I also sign up to take the SAT? I really don't want to. I know I can probably increase my score on the SAT, but I don't know by how much and already did well on the ACT.

So, what are your guys' opinions about my situation. Just for reference, I am applying to schools such as UPenn and UC Berkeley

I think you’re fine just taking and submitting the act

I would retake both. Getting a 34 or 35 is a big step up from a 33 believe it or not. And if you study harder this time and dedicate yourself, you can easily achieve a 2100+ as a senior

Why not retake both? your SAT score will likely go up just because you’re older and know more.
