Would it be worth it to retake SAT's this year(I'm a freshman)? I got 2050 the first time which I got into Penn with but for various reasons looking to transfer to Northwestern. I had a solid GPA but someone suggested I should possibly retake my SAT's just to make my application even stronger. I'm sure I would get a much better score seeing as my original score is from the beginning of junior year. Would it be worth it or would the new score not hold much weight?

If you plan on transferring to ivy's and/or transferring out freshman year
(or going into finance)
then retake it

if not i wouldnt bother

I am planning on transferring out of an ivy to most likely not an ivy, but still a top school. I had a 3.93 first semester, so you think not worth it?

Don't. You're already at Penn, which means something in your application must have balanced out the SATs. Focus on other things.

Out of curiosity, why are you trying to transfer out of Penn? It's my dream school.
