I got a 2260 on the March SAT (800m/750cr/710w, 7 essay). I lost track of time writing my essay and only wrote a page and a quarter so I'm pretty sure I could improve my writing section by 40 or 50 points. I don't think I could go up more than about 20 points on critical reading because I'm bad at vocab, and math could go down. Still, I'm going to apply mostly to the engineering departments of schools for computer science (MIT, Cornell, JHU, Tufts, etc) so I'm not sure they would care much about the writing score. I also did well on my PSAT (80m/80w/77cr) and math 2 subject test (800).

Given all this, do you think its worth retaking?

Well, your score is already great, especially the score out of 1600, so I’d say it shouldn’t be a priority to retake them! I don’t think a 2260 is going to keep you out anywhere, but if you have some extra time, and more importantly motivation, than it wouldn’t hurt to retake it and possibly get an extra edge.
Think about your prospective colleges’ policies on super-scoring- if they all superscore, then it’d be beneficial for you to retake them because you don’t have a chance of lowering your overall score. Since you did amazingly on your PSAT, your score definitely has the potential of going up.
But also, SATs are only one factor in applications, and not the most important one. If retaking would be stressful or if you could spend that time doing something more important, then don’t feel the need to retake it! Good luck!
