Retake/Score Submission Advice

So far on my standardized tests (one sitting each), I have a 35 composite ACT w/ 7 on essay and a 2270 on the SAT ( 800 CR, 760 M, 710 W w/ 9 on essay). My SAT II scores are 800 Bio M, 800 Math 2, and 760 US History. Considering that I'm applying to top tier school's (Ivies), would it be to my advantage to retake any test? I'm fairly confident I can get an 800 on math as well... Also, should I report the ACT, SAT, or both? To compliment my crappy essay scores I received a 5 on the AP English Language Exam FWIW.

I think you already know the answers. your scores are good enough…

Report both. Your scores are pretty similar to mine, except you did waayy better on your SAT IIs haha (I got a 650 in USH, a 680 in Bio E, and a 770 in Lit). I got a 33 ACT composite, a 2270 on the SAT (superscored), and I got into Brown ED… but it’s definitely not all about the scores.

A 9 is not a crappy essay score… lol
And why would you WANT to take the SAT again? Unless you can get a 2360 or whatever the equivilent of a 35 is… which would be stupid anyways. I don’t think any college requires both the SAT and the ACT… so just send the ACT

If you want, send both. Nice scores btw :)

OMGOODNESS, 35 on your ACT. don’t even bother retaking ACT or SAT.
