Retake the SATs for Consulting?

I heard that most Consulting Firms want to see my SAT 1. Although I got into an Ivy, I just sucked at my SATs out of various reasons. Should I retake the SATs? Is it meanwhile possible to send in only one score? Or could I also take the GREs?(Which I have to take sooner or later anyway...)

take GRE of course.

So they do accept the GRE too?
Are the SATs and GREs important criteria for internships at such firms?

Edit: Does anybody know which firms require SATs?

I believe McKinsey’s application required that you report either the SAT I or the ACT, but you could then report other standardized test scores. How poorly did you do? If you’re 1300+ (out of 1600) I don’t think you really need to retake it. 1200+ is getting iffy… under 1200 you might want to consider it (that is if you want to maximize your chances at MBB and the opportunity cost of studying time is low).

Hmmm, I guess I’ll go with the GRE solution. I’d have to take them anyway…
