<p>I scored a 30 on my ACT and I am wondering if it is worthwhile to retake it for transfer admissions. I'll be applying to UC Berkeley, Cornell, UChicago, Columbia, Penn, and Stanford as a transfer applicant.</p>
<p>P.S - I'll probably apply to all schools except Penn as a junior tranfer.</p>
<p>You could always just apply first, then wait an see, if you don’t like the results wait a year and apply again after taking the act again…</p>
<p>The only thing is I feel my chances as a junior transfer are significantly higher than as a sophomore transfer due to my mediocre high school GPA (top 30% in rather uncompetitive school.)</p>
<p>Well, a 30 isn’t very competitive for those top tier schools, so it can’t hurt it to take it again. Make sure you check the schools’ policies on taking it again, though.</p>
