Retaking ACT to get 36

I scored a 33 as a hs junior, is it worth retaking it as a 1st sem. college freshman? I'm pretty confident I can get a 36 or at least a 35.

Will a 35/36 as a freshman look better than a 33 as a hs junior?

I don't think its a good idea. 33 is a damn good score. You know what separates a 35 from a 33. Very little. Just by random chance, you can bridge that gap.

waste of time to take it over...imho

In my opinion, I would be happy with the 33. Unless I was 100% sure I can retake the test and get a solid 36 with minimal effort, I wouldn't waste my time.

It also depends on the school you want to transfer to. If it's ivy and you're entirely confident in your abilit to get that 36 without killing yourself with studying, why not. If it's not ivy/top15, don't bother.
