Hello Community,

I have a simple question about retaking the ACT: Is there a minimum time span you have to wait before you can retake the ACT? Is it possible to take the october and the december ACT (same year) ?
Thanks!

ps: I'm an international

you can take it whenever you want

You could take it at every test this year if you wanted to, there is no limit.

However, scores from October won’t be released until AFTER the deadline for December has passed - so you’ll have to apply for the December one without seeing your previous score if you wish to take it.

I’m pretty sure the September scores come out before the deadline for the late fee option, if you don’t mind paying a little extra.

There are no restrictions from taking back to back tests. I would even encourage it. The trick is to keep studying as you take them and use each administration as a stepping stone to your next score. The administrations with the TIR (Test Information Release) are preferred though because it lets you go over what you got wrong.
