hey guys,
I am upcoming junior. I just got my ap scores, and I am pretty frustrated because of the score and regret about how I didn't work enough for the exams. Therefore:
Can I retake the ap exams next year to improve the scores? If I can, will the colleges I apply to in the future get both scores? or just the one I send them(which is the higher one and I didn't send the ones I took this year)?

Thank you so much guys!!

If you passed the exam then there is no point in retaking it.
Also when you apply to colleges you don’t have to send them
an official AP score report. There is space on the app to list AP
scores, but that is optional. You only send official AP score reports
to a college after you have been accepted and decide to attend.

copyxmkii, are you positive that you do not have to send an official AP score report for admissions? I read on my scoresheet that I received today that any official score reports will indicate the distinction of AP scholar if you earned it. Isn’t that sort of important? Otherwise colleges will have only your stated scores, which could very well be falsified.

I’m pretty sure. I didn’t have send mine when I applied. And also why would
you even consider lying in the first place when the college you will attend will
eventually find out? There is no point in lying. And AP scholar isn’t really that big
of deal.

so do colleges get to know both of my scores if i retake the tests?
