Retaking SAT IIs?

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if you guys thought i should retake my sat 2 scores or not because they are by no means satisfactory for colleges.

US History-560
Math 2- 750
Physics-620

Or should i take 3 other ones so it doesnt look like i had to retake these?

Im thinking of applying to a couple regular decision schools that require 2 or 3 subject tests and these wont look too great. Any opinions would be appreciated

retake USH and physics.
if you have the time/energy, consider retaking math ii

thanks for the quick response.

Im a very strong math student so getting an 800 on math 2 shouldnt be too hard. (790 on last SAT1).

Pretty much i was just wondering if retaking the same ones would be better or worse than taking 3 new ones. i dont know how colleges view retakes is what im trying to get at

Well since you’re good at math, consider taking Math II again. Then pick two other subjects you think you can score well on and give them a try. If you don’t do better on those two, then you can always use Score Choice and not send them in.

alright yea i think that sounds like a good idea. so you would suggest me not retaking the other 2 i didnt do well on but rather take 2 different ones because colleges see this as better than a retake of the other 2? or why?

take the ones that you may score above 700.
