I thought I could do much better on these tests. My parents are very happy with these scores. My parents also expect me to get into an Ivy-League school. The media has brainwashed into believing that Affirmative Action will get me in anywhere I choose. To retake or not to retake
Any suggestions?

Your SAT seems low for the Ivys, from what I read 2200+ is a fairly good score for the top colleges.

I don't know how much Affirmative Action would help you, though.

I would suggest you to retake SATs even if you are not aiming for Ivys.

Affirmative action will get you almost nowhere with those scores. You are in the bottom quarter of students at most of the ivies. So unless you have great EC and other stats, you should definitely aim higher because I doubt you have any chance now.

At Yale the bottom 25% is a 2100
and for Ivies like Brown, Cornell, i think it is somewhere in the high 2000s.
so your score are pretty low for the ivies

retake the SAT. consider retaking the ACT as well and see if you can get it up to 32+.
