Retreat for P/C's this weekend

<p>You have to check out the site below...this is the retreat house that P/C's at USMMA will go to this Labor Day weekend if they so wish. It is a religious retreat program, that I understand the chaplains from KP will be running. My son, who joined the Newman Club ( Catholic club) sent me the site. He actually wrote that it looks like Bruce Wayne's mansion (aka Batman).</p>

<p>I saw on the regimental calendar that there is to be a barbecue on Monday, Labor Day at KP</p>

<p>Yes, he like the rest of the class of '09 is counting down the days til acceptance weekend...</p>

<p>He also earned an additional weekend leave for donating blood! ...</p>

<p>So, some good news to briefly counter all the tragic events here and abroad!</p>

<p>Jamz...so far no lines at the pumps here ...I second 8kids as regards to filling up in NJ en route to KP. Plus, they pump your gas.</p>

<p>Wow! Is all I can say! What a place! Your son pegged it. I would sure expect to see the bat cave underneath that place! Looks like he'll have fun exploring the grounds. And Ooooo, I hadn't heard about the extra liberty for giving blood. Cool! Hope this week-end is a nice break for them all!</p>

<p>For those parents wondering about the retreat. Jaquie went last year and said it was so so good -- relaxing and inspiring and just what she needed before midterms.</p>

<p>As far as gas goes -- I make RT on half a tank (+53 mpg) of diesel. But I never go thru NJ. Just NH, MA, CT and NY.</p>

<p>Drive safe all -- and I will see you on Friday. I will be at the NNEPA booth all day Friday and Saturday.</p>
