Does someone have pictures of how beds of Revelle doubles look like? I need to know if we can loft up the bed or if we need to bring cinder blocks to do it. Also, are there drawers under the bed? Or should we buy underbed storage bags...? And if we do have to buy the bags, what height in inches would be best?

actually i was wondering about this too. i went to the orientation but i dont remember how much storage space we have under the beds. i do remember that there arnt any drawers under the bed. and the closet is super small. im a typical guy so i dont really have that many cloth to bring in comparison to girls… and even i think the closet is small ._.

see the link on the main site, UCSD in Pictures? Argo and Blake doubles in those pictures.

I did check those out, but the blankets and covers blocked the view of what’s under the bed.

look at the picture of the bunks then – cut it in half, and you’ve got the bed.

(and yes, you can buy blocks to raise your bed off the ground)

Revelle beds are pretty damn tall from what I remember, I had a hard time even climbing up on them (short girl here, haha). I would estimate about 3 feet under them

W-wow, three feet… I can stick the suitcase under there then. Thanks~

umm, you can raise or lower the beds (in a double). There are 4 posts and you can adjust the height by disassembling the bed and 4 posts, then reassembling it at the right height. The closets in revelle are decent sized, I wouldn’t worry if they are too small. There is a drawer under the bed, and it rolls on 4 wheels, not attached to the bed or frame. I raised my bed to the highest and it was like a cave down there. My sheets would cover it, and my mini fridge was down there, along with my bike rack, that drawer, bags, and crap. I’m 6ft 4in and it could have doubled as an apartment in japan under my bed

hahaha, one of those famous ‘coffin apt’ in Japan? xD
