Revelle College "Value Pak"?

i received the bed-linen order sheet in the mail, as i'm sure the rest of you have. are any of you planning on placing any orders for this thing? there are three options (they include pillow sheets, towels, blankets, etc., but depending on the order), with the prices being $190, $160, and $120.

anyways i don't think i'm goin to get any of 'em, considering they were made in socal. socal stuff usually break easily and have some foreign smell and that can get annoying. ima get my stuff up here in norcal, where everything is made tougher, more long-lasting, and sexier :D

I Hate You

The beds are extra long, which is why you are locked into purchasing their crap.

not really i bought that crap for cheap at a linen store

everything's bigger (and better) in texas.

i've heard that the mail order stuff is really cheap. i'd just go to some department store and buy stuff.

Dont mess with California
land of the fruits and nuts

oh, i won't. california's great,

but i'm texas born & raised. :)

missus did you apply to UT?

I got all of my crap from Target... It probably came out to a lot cheaper than the catalog...

^Most likely it did, the **** on there is F*ing expensive.

so are they S H I T we buy at at stores....are they gonna fit our beds...The catalog and and stuff sounded like they are just trying to make more money...and there things are UGLY........so should we buy the things in the catalog or at the store, I prefer the store cuz its better.

I waited till the last minute to buy my "extra long twin" linens and stuff last summer, and got a really good deal at Linens 'n Things. Target will also have the extra long twin sizes..they do the whole "college" thing. Check out Target!

Of course I applied to UT & Texas A&M and of course I got in.

I didn't want to go because everyone ends up going there. I'm not even kidding.

wow
you turned down UT? they have a football team and a good one too :(

i would def. have gone to UT or A&M had it not been for the fact that you know, everyone and their mom goes there. they're great schools with great athletics.

those schools didn't even make my top 5. they were like, my safeties.

i'm going to college to meet people and to be in a new environment, not to relive high school again by hanging out with the same friends.

was ucsd your 1st choice?

ahahahahaha NO.

^ UCLA was! =/

mine was usc but they told me i sucked :(

Dude, who the fck cares if it was made in SoCal or NorCal or China or Africa. It's the same sht.

But the "value pak" UCSD is trying to make you buy is fraud. We get it every year or something (or as long as you have on-campus housing) I think. Forget it and just look around for some good deals at Linen n Things or something.
