Revelle Dorms

I'm an incoming freshman to Revelle this fall, and I was wondering what are the percentages of getting a double? Are the desks in Revelle large enough to bring a desktop and where is the cable output? (In the dorm room or the common room) Thanks for your help guys.

Well think of it this way, the Argo/Blake halls (where most of the freshman go) have 3 or 6 floors, which have 6 suites on each floor that alternate boy/girl, in each suite the layout goes double, single, double, bathroom w/2 toilets, three sinks, two showers (walkthrough to the other side), double, triple, triple

Im not sure because i wasnt in the fleets, where some of the flow-over goes, but im pretty sure its only doubles/triples, and if they do overflow in blake (warren, but usually 2nd yrs live there) thats either double/triple or double/double

So as long as you didnt wait last minute to apply for housing, or say “ok” to the housing contract, then you shouldnt be put in a triple, since they place you based on the time you agreed to live on campus.

the desks are pretty nice, i really liked my desk in argo, much better than the one last year in matthews (2nd yr housing). It has nice drawers on the side, and you can extend it another 8 inches or so on the back, it took me a couple months to find that but i extended it and it was a beast, there would be plenty of space for a desktop. I had a single, so my cable/internet hookup was right behind where i put my desk. All the rooms have their own cable/internet hookup, so depending on how you arrange your room you can have the hookup closer to your desk, or you can just run a cable around the room, which people do too. But there are no internet hookups in the suite areas.

If my memory serves me right this is how it was two years ago
