Anyone else get this on minerva? If so, for how long - and for people who've already received an admissions decision how long until this changed to your acceptance/rejection? Also, i'm probably looking to far into things, but does anyone think this is a bad sign?

me too ._____. mine’s been “reviewed-decision pending” for almost a week now and it’s pretty nerve racking. I wish they would just release all decisions on the same day! That would make this process a whole lot nicer. And if you look at the other threads on this forum, this status can last anywhere from a day to a month i don’t think it really means anything though

I got this too on the 14th of february it hasn’t changed since…

Everyone, or the majority of people, get this message. Mine just changed to decision pending today as well.

I think I liked further review required better than this status

I still have “further review required” and Im desperate for “reviewed-decision spending” haha. At least they’ve looked at your application. They really should get rid of “rolling admission.” This whole process seems rather cruel. Why not release decisions on a single day?

Has anyone had “reviewed-decision pending” for a long time now? My status has been the same for over a month

Further review required since a month.

Reviewed - Decision Pending for six weeks now. I am starting to feel like I am going to be on the waiting list. Hopefully they will notify us soon guys…Anyone with any news keep us updated. Also, when you guys receive decisions, please post in the decisions blog under McGill. It helps all of us to get a better understanding of where we stand. Thanks.

Reviewed-decision pending for more than a month now… i applied for mechanical engineering.

I have had reviewed-decision pending for a while as well (I have actually forgotten how long). Having reviewed-decision pending for a long time does not mean you will be on the waiting list though. I have friends (they are overseas students from France) who went from further review required straight to being on the waiting list. It depends on where the school you are applying from is, and since McGill is a prestigious school, it gets a lot of applications and takes a while to release decisions.

@rikafletchyz i feel much more reassured now. thank you!

I was accepted about a week ago now, but I believe they are making their American decisions rolling, one of my friends who applied earlier in the year was immediately rejected so it’s a good sign if you haven’t been rejected yet.

Yes, same thing for me… I applied in November but my file was only recently completed… the current status is “Review - decision pending” since two days ago and I am REALLY worried… good luck to you all!

I’ve been Reviewed-Decision Pending since the end of february. I really don’t know if I should be scared of getting waitlisted or rejected. But the other kids from my school are also R-D.P and one kid already got rejected.

@ama22039. Was he rejected after R-D.P or directly after ready for review?

@bubu11- i’m actually not too sure. I’ll ask to see if anyone knows.

To everyone else, is being Reviewed-Decision Pending bad?

It seems like we’re right back where we started. This R-D.P. thing just stresses the heck out of applicants. I also have Reviewed - Decision Pending, I checked yesterday. I applied for management.

I’ve been following these threads about the dreaded RDP. I sent in my application in mid November for Management and It’s driving me crazy. I’ve taken 8 AP’s, my unweighted GPA is 4.0, and I had straight A’s on my midyear report. However my SAT1 was 2040, so that might be what’s holding up my decision. Is anyone else waiting on a decision from Management?

Reviewed decision pending is not necessarily a bad thing!! I had this for over 2 weeks before being admitted. And still have it for my second faculty

also, i was at a newly admitted students reception for McGill in NJ tonight and they said they will be giving us decisions till may so don’t worry if you still have this- they also admitted that the decision process timing wise, it often a bit random and most importantly, they shared that even if a student doesn’t reach one of the minimum requirements there is a chance he/she could still be admitted

good luck to all of you!!!
