How long did those of you who've received a decision have to wait after you saw this message?

it said reviewed-decision pending for about two weeks...then they received my midyear grades and two days after that they gave me a decision for one of my schools

My status on Minerva has been stuck on "Further Reviewed Required" for the last month. My midyear grades were documented today, so I'm anxiously hoping for a decision within the next week!

How long after you mailed your mid-years did McGill receive them (or at least document them)? I sent mine the third week of January and they still have yet to be documented, and I think this might be holding my application (still Ready for Review) up.

....Same ^

I think it took a while for them to receive my midyear grades, but I'm not positive because our school's college advisor does all that for us.

My transcript was sent out about two weeks before they received it.

here is some information
** ready for review **
McGill has not looked at your application yet at all.

** further review required **
McGill looked at your application once but there was something missing, either a transcript or a score. This is how mcgill keeps track of your application. they will wait a few weeks and look again.

** reviewed - decision pending **
McGill looked at your application again, and reviewed it. Now they are deciding. This may be because they are comparing you to other students, or they just need some more time. expect that it takes between 1 to 3 weeks to hear back.

** important **
mcgill is really busy right now. so if you email them, they probably wont email back. if you call, you have a better shot.
it takes them a while to update your minerva account when they recieve your documents, but if you are worried, call.

beatlespwr, just wondering how you've liked your year at McGill -- I'm guessing you're a freshman. Are you happy you chose McGill?

i love mcgill. i'm happy i chose it.
and yea, i'm a freshman.

Hey, I got this for Arts.
Does this mean nothing, that you're on the fence, or most likely in/not in?
And does it really take 1-3 weeks?

It has been almost a week since this showed up on my account...

hmm....any idea how to interpret it?

I would agree with beatlespwr's explanation--I don't think it's any sign that we're IN, but probably not bad either. I am obsessively checking Minerva every day now.

Minerva finally shows all the parts of application in, but it's still reading "Further Review Required." How long does it usually take to be reviewed once complete?

me tooo! its been over a week and it still says FFR... is this a bad sign?? will my status change sooon?

Atnay: I also got FRR for 2 or 3 weeks, but that was b/c my Mid-years weren't in. Are yours? If not, that's why it says FRR. They've looked through your application once and saw something was missing and will look at it again when they get the missing info. I don't think FRR is good or bad, McGill just can't make a decision b/c not everything's in... right?

Well Minerva already says they processed my Mid-years and everything's there, so how long do you think it will take to hear back if my application says "Reviewed- Decision Pending"?

my satus changed to FFR... a almost month later my midyears were recorded, now... almost 2 weeks after my midyears were recorded it still says FFR

Hmm... well maybe they still haven't gotten to your section of applicants yet. That sucks and is strange considering I got my decision a week later... Maybe you should call McGill? Though they probably will say admissions is very busy. Hang tight. I know that sounds horrible, but you can do it.

Man this sucks. My bro (twin) got into both the Management school and the Arts and Sciences school, whereas I only applied to the Management school (missed the part how I could apply to more than one school) and got Reviewed - Decision Pending. Basically he is crappin on me for not getting in, haha. Anyways, on their site it said that students from Canada find out from mid/late may to early june. Since I am from the United States, we usually have to notify schools by May 1st. Will I find out by the end of this month for sure, since on the McGill website it says US students will find out from Jan 30 - March 30? Im really anxious, this is my #1 school.
