Did anybody went to the revisit days for the Kent school yet? I'm probably going to Kent next year but I'm an international student and won't be able to go to revisit. So if anybody went there, please tell me how it went? How was the classes? Thanks

i did! and honestly it was amazing the people were truly kind and the teachers are great. not much more to say but they definitely weren’t putting on a fake show! hope you come to kent next year!

Nice to know that! I think I’m going. Are you?

We attended the Kent revisit as well. The people couldn’t have been nicer. I just LOVE the campus, and LOVE that they make the class schedule each summer based on making sure that every student is able to take every class they want/need to. (Nobody has to decide between Intermediate Painting and Latin 1 because of a scheduling conflict.)

The academic program seems strong, with a great deal of flexibility to make sure that students are placed in classes at levels where they will thrive and be challenged, recognizing each student’s individual strengths and weaknesses.

We wish the theater program was a little more robust. It is more than adequate for most – 4 main stage productions a year, theater director seems great, and they are completely renovating the theater this year. They do not have any theater classes available until senior year however, and that is a factor for us.

I liked the school very much, and I feel like it is the kind of place that “takes care of it’s own” long after graduation.

We found the outward displays of wealth to be greater at Kent than at the other schools we are considering, but that is, at least in part, due to the dress code.

It probably will not be my daughter’s choice, but we all agreed that it would be a great fit for my younger son there when it is his turn.

Hi Cafe23 and kath22 if you have any questions about Kent, I am a current student there and would be happy to answer any questions!
