<p>Does anyone here got their admissions cancelled from any school ever, or know someone who got their admissions cancelled? How strict is UCSD with falling grades? If I got a D from 2 subjects, would I get revoked, or do they put me in some kind of watch during my first semester?</p>
<p>From what I’ve read, as long as you have 3.0 weighted for both semesters you should be ok.
This student was worrying but he did get to go to UCSD eventually.

<p>Depends on the classes, if it were a math and a science for a science major, 2 Cs may get you revoked.
What are your 2 classes?</p>
<p>AirforceWuhn, the link you posted is for a student who failed a college class. If the two D grades are in high school subjects, UCSD might view it differently.</p>

<p>I think two D’s could definitely get your admissions offer rescinded… You should notify UCSD immediately, or at least call the Admissions Office to get the most accurate answer to your question.</p>
<p>I’ll get a D from Math, no other. I was giving “2 subjects” as an example. I will pick a math major in UCSD but I’m getting D from Math, which is sort of ironic. I’m good at maths, I just had no motivation at all to study in my last month of exams. I go to IB. D is equal to a 3 out of 7 I believe. It’s Math SL by the way.</p>
<p>You probably need to call the admission to confirm. My sister almost got a D but she sort of begged her teacher and he gave her a C-. However, it did not matter in the end because she ended up at a private school.</p>
