<p>Just got back from the Rhodes College Open House. My D and I were very impressed with everything we saw. The campus was beautiful and the facilities superb. Everyone associated with the college was friendly and informative. It could not have been a better introduction to Rhodes. The visit also laid to rest any fears we had about security. Saw many joggers running through the surrounding neighborhoods as well as along North Parkway all the way to Saint Jude. My D is strongly considering premed and the proximity (about an 8-minute drive) to Saint Jude, the Med, the Elvis Presley Trauma Center, and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital is amazing. The students apparently really get great hands-on experience at each of these institutions. The only drawback to Rhodes would be the fact that Memphis doesn't have any good BBQ or music.........just kidding.</p>

My daughter is a high school sophomore and I think Rhodes might be a good option for her. Just received info in the mail from them yesterday. Need to begin thinking about visiting…
