<p>I was wondering how prestige Rice/Baylor is compared to Northwestern HPME program. I also, was wondering how competitive it is to get accepted into Rice/Baylor and what are the minimum requirements of getting to Rice/Baylor??</p>
<p>Equally prestigious as HPME.</p>
<p>Out of all admitted students to rice, 200 apply for the rice/baylor program and about 17 are accepted to make a class of 15.</p>
<p>To get in their are no set minimums, but you must be academically strong (good grades, test scores, course load, etc.) plus show that you have some knowledge of what being a doctor is like (volunteering, EMT, shadowing, etc.) as well as other good ec's (not necessarily related to medicine). Plus you have to be good at interviews, since that's where the final cuts are made. </p>
