Rice Essay Limit?

I'm writing my essay for Rice on how my cultural traditions can contribute to Rice, but I'm worried. In the prompt it says "Most applicants are able to respond successfully in two to three double-spaced pages," but mine is a little over 3, about 3 and 1/4 pages. Will they not read the 4th page? I tried to shorten it and I got it from 3 and half down to 3 and 1/4, but there is nothing else I can remove. Someone please help me out.

There’s no real limit on the essay, so it’s fine if it’s 3.25 pages long…as long as you don’t give them 5 or more pages to read on that one essay prompt then you’re okay.

I was accepted ED this year, and my essay was about 3.5 pages long double spaced. I did some tweaking with the spacing to keep all of my content within 3 pages, but it was obviously not double spaced when I submitted it. I’m sure they will read that fourth page.
