Rice university!!!!

<p>Hey, Im going into my senior year and I was wondering if I even have a chance at getting into Rice. I recently visited the campus and fell in love. I really want to go there for biology but i am nervous about getting in. Do I stand a chance?
SAT reading: 760
SAT writing: 760
SAT math: 660 (ew)
SAT bio E: 740
SAT Lit: 790
I have all a's and a 4.0 gpa. I also have tons of voluteer hours at abig childrens hospital and wildlife rehab center, I won a bunch of art awards and taught my own art class at an elementary school. I'm homeschooled but have taken some calsses at a community college including college chem. I have take 4 yrs of like everything (only 2 yrs spanish) but I havent taken physics. Calculus is my highest math.
I also have somewhat unique background. Im white, female and middle class, but I lived in Malaysia for 2 yrs and then travelle to tons of other countris/all 5 continents incuding a month of volunteering in Peruvian slum.
What do you guys think?</p>

<p>You sound pretty interesting. Rice superstores the SAT so I think it would be wise to retake the test and try to get a higher math score. So other than that, I think you have a fair chance.</p>

<p>I am also looking at Rice! I’m interested in majoring in ecology and evolutionary biology there. I will be visiting in a week and I’m so excited!</p>

<p>From what I’ve been told, Rice values a high class rank, test scores, and gpa(of course all schools do, but Rice especially). Your math score is below the 25% percentile at Rice. You may want to raise that .</p>
