Rice Visit Email

Hello I recently received this email from Rice,

Fall term is in full swing and it’s a great time to visit Rice University. Your campus visit will give you an edge in the admission process as you experience Rice for yourself and discover the qualities we seek in our community of scholars. There is no substitute for this insight, and with it, you will be better prepared to present a strong application to Rice.
Information sessions and tours are offered twice daily, Monday through Friday, and will be available on Saturday mornings, beginning September 19th. In addition, we encourage you to arrange an overnight stay on-campus where you will be able to immerse yourself in the highly acclaimed Rice residential college system. While you’re here, be sure to schedule time to explore the fourth-largest city in America. Houston serves as the corporate headquarters for 26 Fortune 500 companies, is both the energy and medical capital of the world, and boasts the nation’s third-largest consular corps. The city we call home has some of the nation’s best museums, restaurants and athletic and cultural events, many of them located within close proximity to campus. Imagine what it might be like to spend four years in this bustling city, where both the culture and the economy are thriving.

Take the next step in your college search. Register for your visit today. We look forward to welcoming you to Rice.

Do they send this to all applicants? Also I haven’t submitted my application yet. Thanks again.
