I know of a student who got his acceptance into the Photography program yesterday. My son got his last month and another friend who was undecided got his 2 weeks ago. We live in San Diego area. I’ve head they release based on major. Maybe that’s the hold up?
I’m a current RIT parent. They have a strong facebook presence, but you have to know which pages to follow. Apparently I’m still getting notifications from the admissions page. Long story short - just posted on the RIT Admissions facebook page today: As of today all admission decision letters have been mailed. Letters may take time to reach recipients.
Good luck everyone!
Got accepted to Game Design and Development. I’m so excited!
I got accepted under ED like two weeks after I applied. I don’t know what my unweighted GPA is, but my weighted is 3.6 and my SAT composite score is 2160 (760 Math, 600 CR, 800 Writing). Applied and got into Chemical Engineering. I like RIT and it is exactly the school I would like to attend, since I don’t plan on going to grad school straight out of college – or at all. I already paid my deposit, so I’m committed. RIT class of 2020.
I would later find out that I also got into:
Stevens Institute of Technology (CS)
University of Delware (honors: Undecided)
Stony Brook University (CS)
New York University (BA English)
RPI (Chemistry)
Hofstra University (PA program)
Fordham University (Undecided)
Rutgers University (Engineering Und.)
University at Albany (Undecided)
Waitlisted by:
University of Michigan (Engineering)
Rejected by:
Boston University (Undecided)
Out of curiosity, did anyone get admitted to the Honors program?
